Fallbrook Cemetery

Welcome back, hunters!

Today I wanted to talk about the infamous Fallbrook Cemetery, near Morris Run, PA.

For starters, Fallbrook was a coal town and the mines were opened in 1860. It is now a ghost town that was deserted around 1900. For the full history of Fallbrook, check out this website. Joyce's website is a treasure trove of information and she often includes photos.

Back in 2017, Austin and I ventured out to the cemetery. We didn't have a whole lot happen that night. We mainly walked around with a recorder and camera. One thing that did happen though is that we caught our very first EVP. For those of you that are unsure of what an EVP is, it is Electronic Voice Phenomena. In simple terms, it's when you get a recording of a ghost voice. I had just bought the recorder before travelling to the cemetery, so I was pleasantly surprised to capture my first EVP. During this recording we were walking around the more traveled parts of the cemetery. In some places there are small trails from where people have walked. If you don't already know, the cemetery has no maintenance. Everything is overgrown, headstones are broken and laying on the ground, and there has been plenty of vandalism there. I was walking with the recorder in my hand and Austin was following behind me. On this particular day, the trail I was trying to follow was pretty hard to see from all the weeds, and I accidentally stepped on a headstone that was covered up. I immediately apologized to whoever that headstone belonged to. Then, I kept following the trail and accidentally stepped on ANOTHER headstone. At this point I felt awful. I told Austin, "I stepped on another headstone". It was during this point in the recording where we captured a male voice whispering "You did it again".

We have been to this cemetery several times since then, and each time it seems like something different happens. Before exploring here with Austin, I went with a group of friends and heard a growl right in my ear. Then, when I started going here with Austin we heard things banging on trees. It almost sounded like someone hitting the trees with thick sticks. We have also heard a lady speak with our own ears. One night when we were there, it started raining and the odd thing was that it rained all around the cemetery except for inside it. It could be explained as just a weird rain shower, but it was definitely odd. We have also both been touched. Austin had something touch his arm, while standing next to some fenced off headstones and I had something pull on my pants hard enough to almost pull them completely down. I have also been very disoriented there and had no idea where I was. I also heard a male screaming in the woods, which was also captured on my recorder. Lastly, I captured one of the weirdest orb photos from there.

PS, that fence in the top left of the photo is where Austin had his arm touched.

For those of you interested in visiting the cemetery, it is located here: 41.687413, -76.974574
If you do plan to visit, please be respectful. Stay off of the raised areas as you could possibly fall through a coffin. Also, take a friend, this place is very secluded and anything could happen.

Please drop some comments if you have been here or would like to talk about it.

Happy hunting!

F.E.A.R. Paranormal Team

Hey everyone, welcome to the blog. This is the first post on here and I thought it would be a good idea to start out by introducing the F.E.A.R. team and give a little background about it.

So, for starters, F.E.A.R. stands for "F*** Everything and Run". We adopted this from the novel Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. We've had some crazy experiences while ghost hunting, so much so, that we have literally ran away from a ghost hunt out of pure fear. I guess you could say the name is pretty fitting.

The team consists currently of two people, myself (Brooke), and my friend Austin. We basically started this team back in 2017 and have been ghost hunting locally since then. We are mainly located in the Mansfield, PA area. We do the occasional trip where we will drive 4+ hours to a haunted place though.

I plan to use this blog as a way of documenting our evidence and sharing stories with those who are lucky enough to stumble upon it.

That covers the intro. If you made it this far, feel free to say "Hi" and stick around for future posts!
